Please note that all first-time Scar Ease clients are required to book the complimentary 15-minute Scar Assessment & Consultation alongside their first treatment. This allows time for a full scar assessment, health history review, treatment planning, home care guidance and goal setting, ensuring your treatment is tailored specifically to your needs. Scar Ease is a specialist treatment rooted in the Tranquil Flow® Method, designed to support recovery, healing and reconnection following Caesarean birth and other surgical procedures. Combining advanced scar therapy techniques with lymphatic drainage, this treatment aims to improve mobility, comfort and confidence while supporting the body’s natural healing processes. Each Scar Ease treatment includes 15 minutes of Solis Full Body Red and Near Infrared Light Therapy. This restorative addition is designed to support circulation, encourage relaxation and complement the hands-on treatment that follows. Developed through a collaborative approach, Scar Ease combines the expertise of Emma Holly, a renowned Harley Street Scar Therapy Educator, and Sonia Rose, post-surgery lymphatic drainage specialist and founder of Umā Touch. Together, they have created a treatment that bridges scar rehabilitation, lymphatic health and restorative bodywork to support women beyond the initial healing phase. Unlike traditional scar treatments, Scar Ease addresses both the visible scar and the underlying tissue. Guided by the principles of the Tranquil Flow® Method, treatment focuses on restoring movement, improving tissue quality and supporting the body’s ability to adapt, heal and flow with greater ease. Scar Ease may help to: • Improve the appearance and mobility of scar tissue • Reduce adhesions, fibrosis and tissue restrictions • Support lymphatic flow and circulation • Ease discomfort, tightness and sensitivity • Improve posture, movement and functional recovery • Support emotional wellbeing following birth, surgery or trauma Suitable from 6 weeks following Caesarean birth, subject to medical clearance, and also highly effective for mature scars. We have achieved significant improvements with Caesarean scars more than 20 years old. For optimal results, we typically recommend a course of 4 to 6 treatments alongside personalised home care guidance.
